 Genius movie Review,Omkar Genius Review
Rating :- 2.25/5Cast: Havish, Sanusha, R. Sarathkumar, Abhinaya, K. Viswanath, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Suman and OthersDirector: OhmkkarProducer: Dasari Kiran KumarMusic: Joshua SridharCinematography: Diwakaran RaghunathanEditing : M R VarmaaWriter: Chinnikrishna and Paruchuri Brothers
Synopsis:
Genius is the story of three close friends Nivas (Havish), Ashwin babu, Vinoth. They have a particular goal in mind and are very serious about it. Also they take three role models in the fulfillment of their dream. And later they find all their role models cheat them. They decide to teach them a lesson. And in the process, what happens and how their lives are changed forms the actual story
How they performed?
Performance seem to be a very bigger word for what the lead pair displayed on the screen. They got every thing wrong, the expressions, portraying emotions and every thing. The dubbing voice of the hero does not suit to his fragile structure and it appeared it was some dubbing movie with out any coherence between the voice and the picture on the screen. The debutant Sanusha is equally bad too.
Besides there are several other actors. Ashish Vidyardhi as Peddapuram Peddababu, a famous action hero and his son, Chinna Babu (Master Bharath), Brahmi as Pappu, Senior actor Suman as a brahmin, Tamil Super Star Sharath Babu as police officer, Nagababu as a CBI officer, Annapurna as Middle class mother, Thagubothu Ramesh in his usual drunkard role. They are all good in the roles they were offered.
Technical Performances:
Ohmmkar’s TV shows usually known for their unusual drama and exaggeration of minor things. He managed to succeed there by triggering all those. And he seem to be carrying the same to Big Screens too. But the result of this movie will teach him this is altogether a different field. There is no particular flow in the movie. He seem to have readied 3-4 scenes and started weaving around them to make a two and half hour movie. Audience can clear sense the ‘No connection’ feeling between the scenes. Dialogues by Parchuri Brothers are good and intense. Chinni Krishna’s over hype about the movie story is just a publicity stunt.
The Back ground score of the movie is good and the songs were below average. The placement of songs will test the patience of the audience. Editing is pathetic.
Final Say:
In the pretext of delivering a message, Ohmmkar tried to force in a half baked product in to audience’s throats. The movie is reportedly made with a mammoth budget and it appears like Producer’s first outing in industry is a complete mishap.
